STAIRMASTER CHALLENGE TO FEATURE LOCAL HEROES IN A RACE TO CLIMB 117 FLOORS

As StairMaster celebrates the launch of the new StepMill 5, firefighters put it to test at IHRSA!

Los Angeles, CA – (March 13, 2012) StairMaster and the Los Angeles County Fire Departments have teamed up in a local firefighters challenge. The event will be held at IHRSA, the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association’s annual trade show, on March 15-16, 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The challenge will match Los Angeles County fire fighters against each other in race to climb 117 floors, the height of the Empire State Building, on the new StairMaster StepMill 5.  The StepMill 5 is a vital training tool for fire fighters around the country and is used by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). Fire fighters and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel respond to emergency incidents requiring extreme physical exertion. StairMaster Introduces the Next Generation of StepMill® cardio machine.
